Moruya and District Historical Society Discover the fascinating history of the Moruya district. Museum Wed, Fri & 1st Sat of month, 10am-12 noon. Research Library Mon, Wed, Fri 10am-2pm.

History is not only about knowing the names of our ancestors and early pioneers, or about looking at artefacts from previous eras. These activities are important to the development of our knowledge, but real living history is created by the personal stories about people’s lives, places and artefacts.

The Bateman’s Bay Emergency Helipad was inaugurated by Commodore Gordon Jervis with a Navy helicopter landing as the first event.
