Owned and operated by the Australian Aircraft Restoration Group, a community based, not for profit Company limited by Guarantee, the collection was established in 1962, the permanent museum opened in 1964 and is the oldest volunteer Aviation Museum in Australia. Over the last 47 years, the museum has saved a number of significant examples of Australia's aviation heritage, and with nearly 50 aircra

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming former RAAF F-111 Navigator John Bushell to the Moorabbin Air Museum.

Pictured with our F-111 escape module from F-111C A8-131, John’s distinguished RAAF career included flying the Canberra, F-4 Phantom and F-111, serving Australia for 28 years.

It was a privilege to welcome him to the Museum and hear stories from an incredible aviation career.

On Wednesday Ewan dropped into the Air Force Museum of NZ in Christchurch and was shown around by the very welcoming staff. If you are ever in NZ this is one Museum well worth checking out, and the guided tours are a must.

We had an incredible experience photographing two of our best selling products the A10 & F35 at Moorabbin Air Museum we feel incredibly lucky to only have to travel a few km's to see them. Highly recommend a visit.
