~Somethings about my art and myself~

I am 20 years old and has been finding my own way in the art world post-graduation. I want to continue my nans’ creative legacy after her recent passing and let her live through my art making. I incorporate mixed media in my artworks such as acrylic paint, resin, spray paint, and clay to create deep conceptual layers. Alternatively, I also create digital artworks that are evolved into unique prints. I am mostly a self-taught artist, a range of my skills were also developed throughout highschool and art lessons during my early years.

My intention is to reveal unique identities and psychological states such as the experience of living in a busy mind. My practices demonstrate the diversity within one’s mind, so that viewers can immerse themselves into the complex psychological states within the depths of life. Many of my artworks involve abstract qualities and symbols that reveal indecipherable identities and feelings, and euphoric experiences throughout life.

‘I want to try describe the indescribable’

Many of my artworks are a result of personal experiences of living in a busy and complex mind. My artmaking practices derive from the depths of my own personal psyche, experiences, and dreamworld. I want to continue working with the ways of the mind and reveal the psyches diversity to the world. I enjoy experimenting with new materials to find innovative ways to share these convoluted realities and expression of emotion.
