She is getting more dressed up in her new outfit as the weeks roll on. A bird and a marsupial, then a flower or two mixed in with a reptile or an insect...having lots of fun 😊

After a few quiet months of filling holes, sanding and preping I'm super excited to continue with Faunaphant. She is the sister of Blue and White Ming Elephant who was restored to it's original design a few years back. With this second elephant my client gave me free artists choice for her new outfit. I will be posting snippets of the progress as I travel along so stay tuned! 😊

I had lots of fun with this second rocket for In my head I imagined still being a kid and building a rocket out of timber planks, a discarded colander, mums brooms and old tyres dad left behind the shed 😄 Hope you like this little time travel as much as I enjoyed it while working on it. Happy to announce that 5 of my Farm Yard Series paintings are part of the Alpine Artists Summer Exhibition in Bright. Exhibition starts the 3rd December and goes until the 31st January. If you are traveling to Bright in the beautiful Alpine Region of Victoria, take a break and have a look at the Bright Art Gallery, there will be many amazing artwork at display. Feast your eyes 😊

This dog portrait was a 70th birthday present for someone very special. Dogs are always fun to paint, but Zarra was even more enjoyable as I know her and her cheeky character well.
