Located on the mezzanine level of No. 1 Spring Street in the Spring Street Conference Centre, this multi-purpose venue boasts a 200 seat theatrette and beautiful, Harry Seidler designed, 1980s architecture. Curved walls and original art for the cool and the curious of Melbourne. Art @ 1 Spring Street was the home of 'Art Afterhours', an afterwork drinks do with a twist. Live music, original art, $

3 beer and bubbles and our famous FREE party pies and vege pastizzis. On site licensed catering, cinema, awards nights and event facilities available. Artist, group show, charity fundraisers and event proposals invited.

With help from GLAD Rappers,Nini and Wink ,Yarn Bombed 21 trees this morning.The 'pretty' group of trees are located @ the foot of the Shell Building,cnr.Spring and Flinders Street,on the edge of the CBD. BTW, the knitting and crocheting are the awe - inspiring work of one women!

The things you learn when you Google your own address! We have a Boyd mural in the lobby. A really, really big one!

High up in the lobby, in one of the most inaccessible and most difficult to photograph positions is a porcelain Arthur Boyd mural: "Pulpit Rock, Bathers and Muzzled Dog", c. 1987. It is very difficult to find out more about this work, except that it was commissioned from the artist by Shell.
