Hello Doll lovers! There’s still not a day when we don’t miss David, but I’m sure he’s watching us. I wanted to remind you that I'm here to help you, and any students you know, to improve your writing - The Writers' Schoolhouse is for students of any skill level who want to learn how to improve their writing for success. Hello Doll lovers. Welcome to the new year, we're all still missing David but life has to continue. I wanted to let you all know that I have established a business teaching academic writing to students of all ages and stages of learning - online or in person in Brisbane. Dear doll lovers, it’s with great sadness that we let you know that David passed away on Dec 2nd, he was surrounded by family and reached a place of peace free from pain. He was cheeky and loving to the last, with a strong desire to be well and live; but it was not to be. We all miss him greatly.
David asked us to close the business he has run for the last 40 years. He sent his thanks and best wishes to you all. Please think of him fondly whenever you look at a doll he’s repaired and know that he was blessed by the joy they brought you 💜🦋🚂🎶🍷🏌🏽‍♂️

Hello beloved doll-lovers, this is David's daughter Wendy. I need to tell you that unfortunately David's health is not good at the moment and he can't take new repairs or phone calls. We will get back to you as soon as we are able to serve you with repairs once again. If we have your doll in at the moment please don't worry they are safe and we will be in contact with you directly. Wanted to let you know David is well and working hard. Congratulations to everyone for doing your part social distancing and posting in your dolls. Here's a good news story to help you smile this weekend - stay safe, stay careful

One teacher knitted 23 dolls of each of her students during this quarantine time. It brought a smile to every one of their faces.

Hi Doll-lovers, how are you managing with self-isolating? So important we all do it so please please please make the effort. I heard today of this initiative-put your teddy in the window so kids can look out their windows and smile. So can I encourage you - please pop a teddy in your window, share a photo and tag us. Let’s get doll repairs and restorations going global with bears cheering up kids little & big 🌍 💜 🧸

Hi Everyone, just an update - David is still working but please only use post to deliver your dolls, talk by phone or messenger or email, and pay by bank transfer. David is quite able to receive packages by post and we have cleaning protocols that will keep him protected. We're not going to play "guess his age" but he's high risk so just keep posting in your dolls or keep them till this is calmer and he can go back to helping you in person.
Remember you're not just social distancing to protect your health, you're doing it to save someone else's life. Be safe everyone

Doll lovers we hope you’re all keeping well, safe and calm in these confusing times. David is working hard on getting your dolls repaired and back to you - never fear. But we do ask, wherever possible that you use the post to send your dolls. If you do need to come, please call before visiting. As with visiting anyone if you’re unwell or have been in contact with someone who’s unwell please stay away for now. David will wear a mask 😷 as we need him to be well. Wash your hands, stay at least 6 feet from others, and remember if your dolls get sick, David is the only man for you so we all need him well 👍🏽🦋💜. Much love, Wendy (David’s daughter)
