Villa Alba Museum (Kew) Our Monthly Open Days are on the first Sunday of the month, 1.00 to 3.30, guided tour at 1.15 pm. Admission: $15.00
Children under 18 free.

Villa Alba Museum (Kew)
Eventbrite, or tickets at the door. The Villa Alba Museum has some of the finest surviving examples of 19th century interior decoration in Australia. These were created by the notable decorating firm The Paterson Bros. and feature hand painted murals and elaborate painted decorations on the interior walls and ceilings.

What an open day! The sun came out for us all. A millinery exhibition displaying exquisite craftsmanship and curation. A very big thank you to Hats for Spring Racing Archive Style Furrealist Hats Kew Historical Society vic and a very special vintage collection from Georges of Collins.

Thank you to the organisers of the exhibition, members and volunteers who helped make the day so special.

In addition to viewing the historical splendor and significance of the painted interior we have a Spring exhibition of beautiful millinery on display.

Curated from the collections of Kew Historical Society and Georges of Collins Street, these are rarely seen vintage pieces not to be missed.

Creations from Hats for Spring and Surrealist Hats will be available for purchase.

Our 1.15 pm.Tour will reveal the fascinating history of Melbourne's Magnificent Painted Villa in Kew.
