QArt Gallery

QArt Gallery QArt Gallery and QArt Studio give meaning to the idea, ‘art with purpose’.

QArt Gallery and QArt Studio proudly provides employment, mentoring and training for artists with intellectual disability, and gives them the opportunity to display and sell their artwork to the community. Providing employment, mentoring and training to artists with varying degrees of intellectual disability, QArt Studio offers a platform for our artists to participate to a fuller extent in the co

mmunity by engaging in meaningful employment and enjoying more productive lives. In 2011, QArt Studio opened QArt Gallery – a place of immense pride for our artists to showcase and sell their artwork to the broader community, and recognising them as true professional practitioners. Not only does QArt Gallery encourage our customers to come in and see the many beautifully designed products such as greeting cards, aprons, t-towels, limited edition prints and art tiles – all with wonderful stories behind them, but displays the experiences of disability for public consciousness. By purchasing artwork from QArt Gallery and QArt Studio – in store or online – you are helping us to support our artists to reach their full potential.

🎨 Australian Animals A–Z has arrived!
Bright colours, bold outlines, and Henry Deakin’s signature googly eyes come together in this joyful new children’s book celebrating Aussie animals, birds and bugs.

Henry, one of our talented QArt Gallery artists, has spent years developing his distinctive style. His newest collection brings iconic creatures to life in a way that is playful, expressive and full of personality.

📚 Designed and printed in Naarm Melbourne, this book supports local talent and meaningful employment through QArt, where artists with intellectual disability are mentored, trained and paid for their creative work.

Henry recently showcased Australian Animals A–Z at QArt Gallery in a successful exhibition, unveiling a huge body of artwork that has now become his first children’s book. It is the perfect Christmas gift for little readers, animal lovers or anyone who wants to support inclusive creativity.

💛 Support local. Support inclusive employment. Support creativity.
