Ziebell's Farmhouse welcomed local author Amaria Stark recently and she kindly donated her book 'Silent Sentinel - The Story of a Redgum'. Written and illustrated by Amaria, the book is written through the eyes of an ancient redgum, the eucalypt that typifies the landscape of the Whittlesea region.

The museum has a reading library of local history books and we're very happy to be able to add Amaria Stark's book to our collection. Our visitors are encouraged to sit and browse through publications that explain the significant history and stories of Westgarthtown and surrounding areas.
