A spur of the moment idea - drying grapes to become raisins like a small lot done ages ago (last photo) instead of discarding them. All have been washed thoroughly, the damaged grapes were discarded (the chooks got those!) and now all the good grapes will be left in the tray to dry slowly, instead of using the dehydrator.

A busy day with soup making was on the agenda. Tomato soup made from roasted home harvested tomatoes and garlic, roasted shop bought onions and capsicums, home made spice mixes and stock. It takes a long time to make, but the flavour is gorgeous (even if I say so myself).

The old much used Ambiano food processor we bought at Aldi years ago has stopped working well. There were none showing on the Aldi future specials catalogues, so after browsing Amazon I bought a Russell Hobbs one .
It is much the same size and price as the Ambiano processor, and it arrived within two business days - that was amazing. Wayne now gets the old one to tinker with!
