🎨✨ A splash of colour has arrived at our libraries!

Thanks to the generous support of the Manjimup Community Op Shop Inc, the children’s areas at Manjimup and Pemberton Libraries have been transformed with two beautiful new mats. Bright, welcoming and full of colour, these new additions have created inviting spaces where children can gather, learn, read and play.

We’re incredibly grateful for the Community Op Shop’s ongoing support of local community initiatives and for helping make our libraries even more welcoming for local families. β€οΈπŸ“š

🧱✨ Walpole’s LEGO Club – Dream Team! ✨🧱

What a wonderful session at the library! πŸ’› Our Dream Team LEGO challenge brought out the very best in our young builders, with lots of sharing, imagination, creativity and teamwork on display.

It was fascinating listening to the children explain their creations and share the stories behind their builds. Every creation had its own ideas, inspiration and a little bit of magic! πŸŒˆπŸ—οΈ

πŸ‘€ Take a closer look at the photos and see if you can spot β€œThe Tragic Demise of Slim Jim”! πŸ˜‚πŸͺ¦πŸ§±

A big well done to all our brilliant builders for another fantastic LEGO session! πŸ™ŒπŸ’™

πŸ“šβœ¨ What a fantastic two days with Fiona McArthur! βœ¨πŸ“š

We’ve had so much fun welcoming Fiona to our Walpole and Manjimup Libraries on Wednesday and Thursday.

A huge thank you to the vibrant and larger-than-life Fiona for joining us to talk about her brand-new book, as well as the fascinating stories and inspirations behind her many other books. There were plenty of laughs, interesting insights and some wonderful conversations along the way!

A big thank you also to Penguin Random House for covering the costs of Fiona’s visit, which made it possible for us to host these wonderful author events for our community.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make both events so enjoyable! πŸ’•πŸ“š

πŸ‰βœ¨ There are dragon eggs everywhere! βœ¨πŸ‰

Our dragon egg workshops at Manjimup and Walpole Libraries were full of sparkle, creativity and some very impressive creations!

But the dragon-egg-making isn't over yet… 🐲
There are still more eggs to be created at Northcliffe and Pemberton Libraries these school holidays!

It looks like the Shire of Manjimup will soon have plenty of skilled dragon carers in every town. πŸ‰πŸ₯šβœ¨
