Lameroo Historical Society; Museum & Archive Centre The Lameroo Historical Society is the caretaker of both the Archive Centre on 46 Railway Tce North and the Heritage Museum at 45 Chandos Tce.

The Archive Centre manages the preservation of photos, documents and records. Included is photos and items of interest donated by individuals or groups such as school, sport, war, service clubs, other noteworthy activities and events in Lameroo and surrounds. Records date back to early 1900s to present day. The collection is available for research by families, clubs and organisations. Open Wednesd

ays or by arrangement. The Museum, which is accessed via the Lameroo Craft Shop, displays a comprehensive collection of items of local significance in the development of farming and business enterprises prior to 1950. A delightful layout of interesting memorabilia that you may remember from your own childhood or stories from your Grandparents.
