Come take a walk t

hrough time and explore the large collection of artifacts housed in the many heritage buildings in a village-like setting. We acknowledge the Bunurong and Gunaikurnai people as the Traditional Custodians of the Country upon which Coal Creek Community Park and Museum stands and the stories we represent, which have always been part of this land and its waters. We acknowledge and convey our respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging.

🦸 Coal Creek is powered by volunteers.

Without our Council volunteers, the Park you all love and enjoy simply wouldn't be the place it is.

So, in recognition of National Volunteers Week, we caught up with two of our newest volunteers, Stewart and Sharon.

🔨 Stewart has been volunteering as a Blacksmith here for about 6 months. When asked what made him want to volunteer, he said "I love blacksmithing. I have done demonstrations to schools before, and I enjoy showing people how it all works."

🍬 Sharon is part of a group of volunteers who operate our General Store. She has been at Coal Creek just over 6 months and is fascinated by domestic history. We asked her what her favourite part about volunteering was, and she said "using my own interests and sharing them with others."

❤️ Thank you to Stewart, Sharon and all the volunteers at Coal Creek for the work you do keeping the Park beautiful and sharing your skills and interests with those who visit.

Adult Ghost Hunt Coal Creek Community Park and Museum, Korumburra.

ADULT GHOST TOUR – COAL CREEK
April 11th | 5:00PM – 7:00PM
Hosted by Hide and Seek Paraquest

As the sun begins to set over Coal Creek, the atmosphere shifts… and the past begins to stir.

Join Hide and Seek Paraquest for an adult-focused ghost tour experience through one of Victoria’s most historic and atmospheric locations. Designed for mature audiences, this tour delves deeper into the darker side of Coal Creek’s history — where stories don’t always stay in the past.

Guided by experienced investigators, you will walk through dimly lit pathways, explore historic buildings, and hear accounts of unexplained activity reported throughout the site.

This is more than storytelling — it’s an immersive experience that sets the tone for what lies ahead.

Important:
This ghost tour is held prior to the main Paranormal Investigation, making it the perfect introduction for those continuing into the night’s full investigation.

Whether you’re curious, sceptical, or experienced…
this is where your night begins.
