We have just had this Princess sash from the 1982 Potato Festival donated to us. There were a number of Princesses each year; for instance in 1981 there were 16 Princesses, of which one was crowned the Queen of the Festival. Thus the sash could have belonged to any of them them. The sash was found in the hard rubbish at Frankston, so there must be a story there. Thank you, Jason, for rescuing it for us.
