📬 You've got mail!

Before planes, trucks and posties on bikes, there were horse-drawn carts.

This photograph, taken outside the Kalgoorlie Post Office in 1903, shows a cart piled high with mailbags, ready to deliver letters and news across the Goldfields. Long before instant messages and emails, communities relied on services like these to stay in touch.
