Hello everyone,
Just a reminder that the Soldiers Memorial Hall Museum is open this weekend (Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th) from 1000am till 2pm. We are an active part of the Ipswich Galvanised Festival this weekend. We are celebrating all things Ipswich.
This will be the last of our open days for the year as we will be closed at September end due to our renovations downstairs. We are hoping to be open early 2027 Jan-Feb but definitely for ANZAC.
So come one come all. We will have 5 guides available on both days. Hope to see then

Hi all, just a reminder that the Soldiers Memorial Museum is open this Sunday 23rd August 2026, with the added benefit of the Ipswich RSL band playing some tunes in the park.
Come one, come all for a great day.
Open hours are 0.1900 till 2pm
Parking available.
Don't forget that the museum will be closed on Sunday 30th August. Museum will reopen on the 5/6th September for the Galvanized Festival.

Hi everyone,
Soldiers' memorial hall will be open this Sunday 23rd August.
Personal guided tours are part of the museum visit, get to learn some local history and stories about this great old town.
Opening hours are 1000hrs till 2pm.
Ipswich RSL band will be on site as well to play some tunes for you all. Come on down everyone.
Soldiers Memorial Hall will be 105 years old this November
Museum will be also open on the 5-6 September to help celebrate Galvanized festival for Ipswich. Same opening times as usual. Galvanized festival will be our last open days until February/March next year due to work commencing on the sinking floor.
Sunday 30th August has been cancelled due to the Galvanized festival the following week.

Good Morning,

Museum open day this Sunday 28th June.
Great way to start school holidays. Come on down and have a look at our beautiful building and have a guided tour through the museum. Listen to the stories and military history of our locals.
Open hours are 1000 am till 2 pm.

Hello all,
We are open this Sunday 31st May from 1000 am till 2 pm. We will have the Ipswich RSL band on site and playing some wonderful tunes. Really talented group of muso's.
Have a look upstairs in our wonderful museum and learn a little bit of local history with our displays.
