A Special Recognition for Morrie

We are incredibly proud to share that Morrie has been formally recognised by the Submarine Association Australia for his outstanding contribution to the Holbrook Submarine Museum and the wider submarine community.

For almost 30 years, Morrie has played a vital role in the life of the Museum - first through his long-standing connection and support, and more recently through his dedicated work as Curator. His knowledge, commitment and quiet passion for preserving and sharing Australia’s submarine history have left a lasting impact on visitors, and Submariners alike.

This special award was presented during the Australia Day celebrations, when Submariners and their families gathered in the Submarine Park in Holbrook to mark the occasion.

Please join us in congratulating Morrie on this significant and well-earned recognition.
