The Mawson’s Huts Foundation is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Finance & Administration Officer to support the day-to-day operations of our not-for-profit organisation.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across finance, administration, and systems within a small, purpose-driven team.
About the role
You will:
- Manage accounts in Xero
- Process payroll and payments
- Reconcile bank and PayPal transactions
- Support HR administration
- Assist the CEO with reporting, compliance tracking, and general administration
About you
You will have:
- Strong experience using Xero (essential)
- Bookkeeping and payroll experience
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working independently
- Strong Word and Excel skills
Experience in the not-for-profit, heritage, or cultural sector will be highly regarded.
