Had a great day at the Slow Food Olive Festival yesterday, part of the Gidgegannup Small Farm Field Day. Took native lime infused olive oils plus other bush Tucker and a selection of Native Lime plants. They were the star of the show. I have a few left which are for sale for a few days at Maalinup before I return to the grower. Red Ch*****ne Finger Limes, standard Red Centre Limes, Sunrise Limes and Desert Limes. Also some Quandong trees. More adventures on the horizon next week.😊

Swan Valley Tourism Alliance AGM at Sandalford Estate. Lucky to have Minister Rita Saffioti in attendance. Seems there are some great plans afoot to increase mid week visitation through increased interstate and international visitation. Looking forward to seeing the solution to the West Swan Road/Henley Brook Ave/Reid Highway dilemma. Also from the floor concerns about aging producers and how agriculture/viticulture can continue in the future. Oldest w**e growing region in WA, food bowl and major tourism attraction. The Valley needs the backdrop of of the table grapes, w**e and produce to maintain its character. **emakers
