Every kind of art at The Cedars
Before it was a gallery, before it was a museum, The Cedars was a garden.
Hans Heysen planted it himself, over a century ago, and it's now one of the oldest artist-planted gardens in Australia. He painted it, walked it, and drew endless inspiration from it, and so did Nora.
With spring just around the corner, this is where the story really comes to life. The blossoms, the light through the gums, the same paths the Heysens walked, it's art you can stand inside.
And when you're ready to see where that inspiration ended up, the house, studios and new Heysen Gallery are just steps away.
📍 Open Tues–Sun, 10am–4:30pm. Plan your visit — www.heysen.org.au/plan-your-journey
