Over the moon and extremely honoured that my work “Ulysses Gaze, view to Lalgambuk (Mt Franklin) has been selected as a finalist in The Heysen Prize for Landscape 2026, at the Hahndorf Academy South Australia.
An incredible journey for this work, and series, that came about from a permanent move to regional Victoria to endeavour to be closer and immersed in the landscape.
Congratulations to all the finalists!

Meet Nora Heysen (1911–2003) 🎨 the first woman to win the Archibald Prize and Australia's first female official war artist.

She grew up at The Cedars, but built an artistic legacy entirely her own. Her original studio still stands here today, open to the public.
