With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Rob Poidevin.
He was a tall, gentle man who dedicated so much to everyone around him, particularly the Dalton Cricket community.
Rob loved his family and his community deeply, and he leaves behind a legacy of kindness. He will be dearly missed 🏏

In loving memory

"We mourn the profound loss of a wonderful man, a devoted husband, and a loving father. As a true stalwart of the Bush Family Community, his life beautifully honoured the heritage born at 'Boughyard', Jerrawa—the historic home of his grandparents, George and Caroline. Though he has passed, the strength of his character and the deep roots of his legacy will live on in our hearts forever." RIP Peter 🐑

Well done Elijah and best of luck

Only three years ago discus thrower Elijah Wilson had another event he excelled at when it came to athletics. When he was 16, he could jump a handy 1.80m in the high jump, before he switched to the throws full time and he never looked back. Now 19, Wilson (ACT, Rowan Vergano) is pumped to

Public Assistance Request – Recovered War Medals

Police are seeking assistance from the public to identify and locate the rightful owners or relatives of these recovered military medals.

These awards represent the service and sacrifice of Australian and Commonwealth veterans, and every effort is being made to return them to their families.

The two sets of medals were recovered by police at a rural property in Bevendale, NSW during an investigation into break-and-enter offences.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Yass Police Station 02-6226 9399 or the Police Assistance Line on 131 444.

Community enquiry - Would someone in the Gunning community have a photo of Sheldricks garage 1969 viewing the moon landing on their little black and white TV? I remember being marched down to the garage as a group from school to watch the moon landing. Sounds funny now, watching it in a garage.
