About artist Nick Hollo
Living and working by the coast and harbour is the chief inspiration for Nick Hollo’s work as an architect, urban designer and artist. Using oil pastels enabled him to quickly capture the light, movement and ambience of places. He has exhibited annually at Gallery East, Clovelly 2000 - 2024 and more recently at the Dickerson Gallery in Woollahra. His work has been exhibited at the Historic Houses Trust Members’ Lounge and at the Manly Art Gallery and Museum.

You will be inspired by the beautiful heritage house and garden at Eryldene as you work with Nick and experiment with the medium of oil pastels.

Eryldene will provide materials and you are also welcome to bring your own pastels/crayons/papers. Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy relaxing in the grounds after the workshop.

Cost is $30-$60 per person, including morning tea. Places for the workshop are limited (20 people), therefore bookings are essential via the Eryldene website www.eryldene.org.au/new-events

🍂 Turning autumn leaves into tomorrow's garden 🍂

Our dedicated Eryldene gardening team was delighted to put our new battery-powered lawn mower to work today, thanks to the generous support of Community Bank Lindfield.

Rather than sending the fallen autumn leaves to waste, the mower transformed them into fine mulch, which has now been spread throughout the garden beds. This natural mulch will help retain moisture, suppress weeds and feed our camellias and other delicate plants from the winter chill.

This is sustainability in action—and it's only possible because of community support.

A heartfelt thank you to Community Bank Lindfield for awarding Eryldene this grant. Your investment is helping our volunteers care for this beautiful historic garden in a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way for everyone to enjoy.

💚 Every grant makes a lasting difference.
