Sometimes, meaningful collaboration begins with a simple conversation.
The World of Cultures, organised by SSI - Settlement Services International, Logan was an opportunity for Gold Coast Multicultural Arts (GCMAGIC) Director Nasrin Vaziri to sit down with Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC) Director Hannah Attwood for a meaningful conversation about their experiences working in the multicultural arts sector in Queensland.
While BEMAC focuses on music and GCMAGIC works across multidisciplinary arts, there are many shared experiences between the two organisations. Both work closely with culturally diverse artists and communities, creating spaces for cultural expression, connection and opportunity.
