We’re excited to share that we’ve been awarded RCAP Core Funding with investment from the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland 🌟

This support will enable GCMAGIC to strengthen our organisation through the creation of new roles, improving our operational systems and supporting our growth. Most importantly, it will help us provide more effective and meaningful assistance to local talented individuals from all cultures and communities!

We are deeply grateful to the Queensland Government and Arts Queensland for recognising and investing in the value of community arts and cultural development. This support empowers us to continue building a more inclusive, responsive, and sustainable creative sector.

A massive thanks to the Creative Health Hub team at Gold Coast University Hospital - GCUH for displaying the artworks for the Visual Life Story collage collection.

The Gold Coast Multicultural Group Gold Coast Multicultural Arts has a new exhibition in the GCUH foyer sharing stories, perspectives and experiences of our culturally diverse local artists. 🌟

Proudly funded by the City of Gold Coast, Visual Life Stories was developed through a series of collage workshops that supported artists facing vulnerability, providing a supportive space where people could build confidence, express themselves and connect with others through shared creativity.

Creative Health Hub invites you to visit this special exhibition which uses images, colour and materials to explore identity, memory and lived experience. Ends 2 June. 🎨
