It’s afternoons like today that keep the Gayndah Art Gallery alive and thriving.

Thank you to all the amazing people who attended the opening event for Susie Capewell’s exhibition, “Explore Art Australia”. It was a delightful afternoon.

Susie had her family and friends, plus prior workshop participants (and fellow exhibitors), local Gayndah community members, plus gallery staff join her in celebrations.

Delicious food and drinks, chilled background music and good company, all while embracing the beauty of Susie & Co.’s artworks.

FROGG member prize draws also took placed with an announcement on that in the coming days.

Susie is generously offering a wonderful raffle alongside this exhibition, with ticket sales going well. If you’d like to win an original painting of the Burnett River or a 2 Hour art tutorial with Susie, be sure to come into the gallery to get your tickets.

Again, thank you to all those who attended today, and to Susie for bringing this gorgeous Australian Landscape display to The Gallery.

Susie Capewell and the Gayndah Art Gallery invite all members of the public to join the opening event for “Explore Art Australia”. This is Susie’s first solo exhibition at Gayndah for 15 years. This art display captures amazing Australian landscapes that are created from Susie’s photographs, taken on her travels. This exhibition also features a collection of artworks from Susie’s workshop participants.
Join in the afternoon tea event tomorrow, Sunday 24th May, 2pm.
