Introducing the WOMBATTERY. 🔋

Today, we're proud to announce a major breakthrough in energy storage: the world’s first battery designed to capture and store the energy generated by Australia’s love for wombats.

Developed by our energy researchers, WOMBATTERY converts sustained national affection, including wildlife photos, delighted squeals, and likes on our weekly posts, into a stable, renewable power source.

Early modelling suggests peak energy generation occurs during wombat crossings, viral videos, and whenever someone mentions that wombats have cube‑shaped poo.

WOMBATTERY represents an exciting step forward in long-duration storage and innovation in brown energy.

Huon Valley Wombat

In the heart of Huon Valley, where the river gently flows,
Lives a sturdy little wombat, in a burrow down below.
By the riverbank he wanders, through the ferns and mossy green,
In the tranquil Tasman landscape, where the air is fresh and clean.
With a nose for tasty tubers, and a love for leafy treats,
He ambles through the underbrush, on his sturdy, padded feet.
The eucalyptus softly whispers, as the evening shadows fall
And the wombat in his burrow, feels the night-time's gentle call.
In the stillness of the twilight, under stars that softly gleam,
He dreams of ancient forests, and the river's silver stream.
For in the Huon Valley, where the wild things roam and play,
Lives a wombat, wise and gentle, in his home down Franklin way.
