The Foster and District Historical Society is having a Silent Auction of items donated by members as a fund-raising effort towards its Building Fund. The Fund is for the construction of a new pavilion which will include a secure, environmentally-controlled store for the Museum’s collection of valued documents and artifacts. This will also be a display area devoted to the display of dairy farming equipment telling the history of the original small dairy farms which were an important part of the social and economic development of South Gippsland.
