Yesterday a very special, precious and vivacious student returned to me. She created her first glass work with me in 2007 which won an award. I only get to see her about every 10 years. I get to hear about her adventures, passions, achievements and goals. This was a super special class because we decided it’s best to work with fused glass and not Leadlight, for a very specific reason. This powerful woman is creating a Joan of Arc themed work which will take several weeks to create. When a student such as Georgie comes to my studio, it’s all whirlwind of techniques and materials. Goals set and always achieved 🤩

Gippsland Sculpture exhibition, Yinnar. Amazing little town dedicating itself to supporting artists. This is an amazing exhibition, the street FULL of incredible sculptures and a gallery full of more incredible works. A MUST SEE. Visit Yinnar and see what a small town with enthusiasm can do.
Opening 1-4 9th March, music and wine. Exhibition open every day from 9th March - 20th April
