Greetings to Sketch Club and friends of the gallery- there has been a mistake in news letters for the dates for Sketch Club in June. Please see correct dates below:

STILL LIFE/ PORTRAIT

THURSDAY 18th June 2026

Beginners guide to sketching starts 12 noon till 1 pm.
Portraiture & proportions.

Inspirational artist Robert Hannaford and Jude Rae

Sketch Club Starts 1 pm to 4 pm

Afternoon tea supplied Cost: $10

Please bring your own art equipment, lunch if required.

SUNDAY 28th JUNE 2026

Meet at the gallery 9.30 am ( 12 Park St. East Gresford) - Departure at 9.45 am. to a Torryburn location.
Stay till 3 pm.

BYO your own art materials, lunch with a reminder to wear closed in walking shoes (we are on a rural property with uneven ground), there will be a verandah to work from should it rain, hat, water, mug, sunscreen, chair.

Cost: $10

Our location offers great scenic views, heavy horses (who will have their rugs off), bush - another truly inspirational location.

Gresford Community Gallery held May Sketch Club at Old Duninald, a Plein Air painter's paradise. We were spoilt for choice - Historic old buildings, landscape, a billabong with reflections, flora and fauna. We will certainly be making a booking again.
