Look What Our Recycling Dollars Have Helped Us Do! ♻️
Three new display cases, purchased with funds raised through our shared community recycling program.
Why do we need them? Because we have so many small and fascinating pieces of our history that deserve to be seen, but need protecting and displaying properly.
The funds raised through recycling are shared with the Denman & District Men’s Shed, who have also put their share back into our community, recently purchasing a specialised chair for the local hospital. ❤️
Well done everyone.👏

UPDATE.....
The Jeep Gets a Little More Paint! 🚙🎨
Our Ford Jeep restoration is moving along, with the team putting in plenty of time on repairs, preparation and paintwork. A few challenges along the way, but nothing they couldn’t sort! 😁🔧
Our dream is to have the Jeep to help transport our Veterans at ANZAC Day ceremonies.
A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers, MMS Engineering, and everyone supporting us through can & bottle recycling, Clydie Poo and plant sales.
We have also been able to budget for 3 display cabinets this year which we are yet to purchase.
Every little bit helps us preserve and restore history for your Museum and your Community. ❤️

Every can and bottle adds up, with the funds raised going directly back into Denman & District Heritage Village and Denman & District Men’s Shed.
Both are registered charities, run entirely by volunteers for the benefit of our community.
Your recycling helps us continue our work, support our community and preserve our local history for future generations.
Thank you for your ongoing support — it really does make a difference! 🙌♻️

🇦🇺 We’re looking forward to a very special day at the Museum tomorrow!
We’re proud to be providing the space for Muswellbrook Shire Council’s Citizenship Ceremony as we welcome some very special new Australians and their guests.
Denman Mens Shed crew will be putting on refreshments to help welcome everyone, and the Museum will be open for guests to have a wander through and explore.
A big thank you to the Denman Lions Club for the use of their BBQ and marquee.
It’s great to see our local community groups coming together to help make this such a special occasion.
We’re proud to be able to share in such an important day. Welcome to Australia! 🇦🇺
