It’s another beautiful day in Crows Nest and a good day to see our museum, on the Highway , east side of town. Open daily 10 to 3.
Congrats to the Show Committee for a great show yesterday and awesome fireworks.

On this ANZAC DAY, as usual, our museum and historic village is closed today and opened again tomorrow as usual at 10.00am.
Enjoy your respectful gathering to commemorate the day at you chosen venue.
A fly past is scheduled at 9 am over our town and usual parade mid morning.
Come visit our popular Museum and remember old days gone by. Crows Nest locals enter free of charge with proof of residence.

Crows Nest Museum and Historic Village is open over the Easter Weekend , EXCEPT GOOD FRIDAY. Please consider bringing your visitors in to show off our many displays in more than 20 buildings.
Currently we are displaying the contents of the 25 year old time capsule that was unearthed on Australia. This can be viewed in the Information Centre at the museum free of charge.

Thanks to all who attended our Australia Day celebrations and made it a successful day at Crows Nest Museum & Historic Village.
Our Time Capsule contained lots of current news of the day back then and will be on display later on.
Congratulations to the recipients of Australia Day Awards in the afternoon event in the park which was also enjoyable.

Thanks to the public for being patient during our annual break.

Crows Nest Museum and Historic Village will be open for visitors from Monday 5 th January.

Thanks to the volunteers for their time to prepare for 2026 at the Museum.

Just a friendly reminder that the Museum & Information Centre reopen on Monday the 5th of January.
We'll be having Working Bees on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th of January from 7:30am to spruce things up for the reopening. Any help would be greatly appreciated so if you have a bit of spare time we'd love to see you there.
