Cowper Art Gallery and Studio Situated in the Clarence Valley, NSW, Australia. We are halfway between Grafton and Maclean just off Big River Way. We are closed in between exhibitions.

We are open Saturday & Sunday 10am - 4pm, and Thursday to Sunday during school holidays. Please keep an eye on our page to keep up to date with details.

Our exhibition Still Life, Still Living with Harry Westera has now closed. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came along to view the exhibition, who purchased beautiful paintings for your walls, attended the exhibition opening, and most importantly supported our artist and our gallery. We’d also like to acknowledge the faith and trust that all our artists show us - our walls would be very bare without you!
Our thanks to everyone for your continued support and encouragement for everything we do here at Cowper Art Gallery and Studio. Without you we couldn’t do what we do, and we never take that for granted.
The gallery is now closed until the opening of our next exhibition on Sunday 6th September at 4pm. We can’t wait to show you some very special artwork from another Clarence Valley artist. Keep your eyes peeled for all the details coming soon….

August is Printmaking month in the Studio! Join me for six weeks of Relief Printing in my classes beginning on August 6 - you’ll learn all about Lino printing including how to design, correct methods for carving, how to register the correct way for accuracy, how to print multi coloured blocks, and so much more!
And coming up on the weekend of August 29 & 30 join Rhonda and I for two days of using printmaking in experimental and exciting ways. Working around the theme of ‘objects’ we’ll be exploring block and stencil printing taking an everyday object into completed prints with a graphic twist. Think Japanese printing, Pop art and much more.
