Presentation of Life Membership – Steve Brown-Smith
Letters of Appreciation to the 'Two Ronnies'

Steve Brown-Smith has been a member of our Society for more than 30 years. During that time, he has served as Vice President and, for the past nine years, has been our Curator.

Being Curator is much more than simply looking after the collection. It requires knowledge, commitment and a genuine passion for preserving our local history. Steve has all of those qualities. Whether it's helping behind the scenes, assisting with projects, or simply being here on our Sunday opening days, he is someone we know we can rely on.

People like Steve are the backbone of volunteer organisations. They don't seek recognition, but their contribution is invaluable and often goes unnoticed by many.

Steve, thank you for everything you done for the Corrigin Pioneer Museum and our community.

Life Membership is the highest honour our Society can bestow, and no one is more deserving of this recognition than Steve Brown-Smith.
Congratulations.

Certificates of Appreciation were also given to Ron Gannaway and Ron Chivell for their decades of work maintaining and developing the museum and its gardens.

All awards were warmly applauded as members showed their appreciation.

Our first Junior Members to join the Museum. It was with great pleasure that we welcomed Nik and Ollie to membership at the museum. We hope to have many more young ones become members. Especially when we have our model railway running, planned for September. People of all ages are encouraged to join and participate in the activities at the museum.
