Hi all,

Thank you to those who braved the cold winter's night last Wednesday 22nd July to join us for the AGM and Speaker.

I (Paul) had the privilege of relaying highlights from the 1920 handwritten diary of Helen Jane Roberts who travelled between Colac, Cororooke , Seymour and Cohuna. More details will be provided in an upcoming newsletter.

Thank you to all the who have assisted in my first year as President and also those who are continuing in their roles for the upcoming year.

On Wednesday the 25th March, we heard the fascinating background story of Charles Wightman Sievwright thanks to his descendant, Bruce Bennett, regarding his time in the 1830's to 1840's as Aboriginal Protector in Western Victoria.
