Planning your Easter getaway in Cervantes? Looking for something to do? The museum will be open Friday 10am to about 2ish, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 3pm and probably a couple of hours on Monday from 10am. We have a few hand knitted easter bunnies left and some Lucinda's Everlasting seeds, as well as a variety of local handcrafts including fig jam. The museum operates on a cash only basis and entry to the museum is by donation.

The launch today of the Artemis moon expedition reminded me of my Dad's (Ted Wilson) participation in the 1962 Project Mercury - the first human spaceflight programme of the US. The US reached its orbital goal on February 20, 1962, when John Glenn made three orbits around the Earth. Photo attached is a page from the APO magazine (part of report), Dad's ID Card and the gold lapel pin presented to the workers. It is a replica of the space capsule used on Glenn's orbit.
