This acrylic painting is entitled “Sunrise Over the Bay”. It’s relatively small - 400mm x 310mm (including frame). It will be exhibited at Market Gallery on Edward’s Road when we reopen after renovations in mid November. I can be contacted directly for private viewing/sale prior to this.

Some very good paintings produced at the weekends Painting Waves in Soft Pastel workshop. I present these workshops for the South Coast Pastel Society as part of their beginner workshop program. This program is aimed at introducing participants to the wonderful and versatile medium of soft pastels. It was a joy working with such an enthusiastic and talented group. I was assisted by Rae Conway, a fine pastel artist, who helped guide and coach participants throughout the session.

Just finished an acrylic on canvas (80x40cm) entitled “Storm Bringer” . The second is a pastel entitled “Snapper Island Sunrise”. A little over A4 size (A3 with the matte and frame). The pastel was recently exhibited at the South Cosst Pastel Society Summer Exhibition.

Onto the details stage of this commission piece. It will be finished in the next session.
