Melbourne Museum Melbourne Museum is one of Australia's biggest and most loved museums. Melbourne Museum is also home to the world's largest screen - IMAX Melbourne Museum.

Melbourne Museum explores life in Victoria, from our natural environment to our culture and history. Located on Wurundjeri Country in Carlton Gardens (Melbourne, Australia), opposite the World Heritage Listed Royal Exhibition Building, the award-winning Melbourne Museum houses a permanent collection in eight galleries, including one just for children. Melbourne Museum also features the Bunjilaka A

boriginal Cultural Centre and is a space for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people to connect with Victoria’s Koorie (south eastern Aboriginal) people. Melbourne Museum is open daily 9am – 5pm. Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day. Entry to Melbourne Museum is Adult $15, Concession* and Child (3–16 years) free. Discounts available for combined tickets with IMAX. Additional charges may apply for temporary exhibitions.

Join Deaf Auslan users for a guided journey through the exhibition, exploring the stories, objects and people that shaped one of history’s greatest civilisations.

Led by Philip Waters, the tour opens with an introduction to Roman history before uncovering fascinating insights into the empire's lasting legacy. Afterwards, enjoy time to explore the exhibition at your own pace.
