History Week begins September 5 with the theme 'Keeping Stories'. Our new exhibition ‘The Way We Were’ is on in The Old Fire Station at the front of Camden Library, 40 John Street Camden.
‘The Way We Were’ showcases some of the ways in which authentic and meaningful stories can be uncovered using original material found in our archival collections.
Presented by Camden Library Local Studies, Camden Historical Society and Camden Area Family History Society.

Unlock Camden Heritage Festival 2026 is on this Saturday!!
Celebrate Camden’s past with history displays, guided tours, vintage cars, community stalls, live music, children's activities, museum collections and so much more!

Camden Historical Society will be with Camden Area Family History Society, A journey through life in Camden, and Friends of Belgenny Farm in the Old Fire Station. Camden Museum will open at 10am.

Note: John Street will be closed from Argyle Street to Larkin Place.

A lovely tribute has been made at Camden Park for Harry and Frances Warner, with a plaque and a magnolia planted in their honour by the Macarthur-Stanham family.
We miss them and remember all they did for Camden and our community🌼 They have left behind a wonderful legacy.
Many thanks to Amy for sharing this news and these lovely pictures with us.
