QMHS has begun the restoration on the first of the field guns on display at Fort Lytton. The guns, which were manufactured in the 1840s and 1850s, arrived in Brisbane in 1862 where they were used by the Queensland Volunteer Artillery. Four of the guns are currently on display at Fort Lytton National Park.
