BIG things are happening this week with The Brookfield Museum getting some much needed work done.
The works being undertaken include a complete roof replacement along with new guttering and electrical upgrades. These works are an important step to safeguard the Museam and the important history housed within.
This project is possible due to a successful grant application from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund Dr Christian Rowan MP and also contributions from the Brookfield District Museum and Historical Society.
We would like to thank all of the Brookfield Museum committee, Brookfield District Museam President, Cath Fullerton and the Showground’s infrastructure committee of Ros Macdonald, Veronica Pichlmann and architect, Harvey Russell for their work towards the project.
The works are being project managed by Aaron Shield, a proud member of the Shield family with a deep community connection to Brookfield and the Show Society.
Here's a couple snaps of the progress so far, Stay tuned for updates.
