‘The quieter you become, the more you can hear.’
―Ram Dass, Be Here Now

Zia McCabe—she of Dandy Warhols fame, who are set to play the Odeon on 24 November—believes human nature is being eroded by the modern world.

Inspired by Be Here Now, the 1970s manual for conscious living by Ram Dass, McCabe’s unveiling an interactive and surrealish lounge: a space furnished with sound, vibration and movement.

Reset and quiet the mind with See Hear Now, from 26 November 2026.

MONA Bangkok

'MONA Bangkok will take the creative spirit of Mona into a new context. Like the museum in Hobart, it will present work by leading international artists, while also creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue with Thai artists, audiences and cultural traditions.

The theme of light will be explored both as a physical phenomenon and as a metaphor. Light has long been a source of fascination, reflection and hope across cultures, and it feels especially resonant in Bangkok, with its rich cultural life and deep traditions.'
—Leigh Carmichael

‘That is the thinking house of sapient souls.
There dwell the men who teach—aye, who persuade us,
That Heaven is one vast fire-extinguisher
Placed round about us, and that we’re the cinders …’

‘I am written into this language. I was not there when it was built. It was built because I was not there.’
—Indigo Yeldham

Indigo is the daughter of Joshua and Jo Yeldham, and along with Indigo’s brother Jude, they are all the subject of a monumental artwork that will open tomorrow, with Mona’s new library, Phrontisterion. Indigo ponders her dad’s motives in this essay.
