SPAT has turned 40 years old!
To mark the event we have created an exhibition which is now on show in the Rosny public library.
We have taken a snapshot of what we have on show at the Museum.
We have children's records and record players, transistor radios, an Australian record display, a Jazz record display, Jack O'Hagan display, a wall display including various old sound recording media.
Plus the story of SPAT from its start in 1985.
The exhibition is at the library till end of November

New feature to the sound museum is a 1906 Ericsson magneto telephone. You would crank the handle on the side to make the bell at the exchange ring. You would then pick up the handset and tell the operator who you wanted to be connected to.
Our phone is connected to another phone in the museum.

The Sound Museum along with other groups had a display and activities as part of a Bunnings Mornington Community Easter event.
We had interest from a number of two legged and four legged viewers. There was no power available but our windup gramophones filled the space.
