Join the Friends of the Burke Museum at the museum next Sunday afternoon to celebrate the eminent international geologist, E.J. Dunn, with guest speaker Oskar Lindenmayer, Collection Manager, Geosciences, Museums Victoria Research Institute.
An unsung hero of Beechworth’s history, Dunn’s recently acquired specimen cabinet will be revealed and we’ll also get to hear some new insights into the Museum’s historic sapphire specimen.
Stay-on for light refreshments and an opportunity to mingle, and chat further about E. J. Dunn’s legacy.
