Hey Darwin and surrounds peeps, how long has it been since you looked Litchfield?

Make a day of it and start your Litchfield loop in Batchelor in the morning.

The markets have plants, food, homemade arts, massage, tarot readings, clothes..... and it goes on...

Then pop into the Batchelor Museum at $10 pp over 13 years old. Look at the historybof the region you may not have known about.

Be in awe at the replica Castle.

Enjoy a lunch in the parklands, and then off you go to Florence Falls.

The seasons are changing and that means visitors to our little town may slow down soon.
However, we will always have Private Person here to keep us company in the WWII section.

We have a range of displays from life in Batchelor in the 50' and 60's, what the Uranium history of mining was like right here on your doorstep, bombing of Darwin video with local perspectives, learn the position Batchelor and surrounds had in keeping Darwin safe.
Did you know General MacArthur stopped here?

And that's just the half of it.

Come along and enjoy the parklands around Batchelor, a replica Castle, grab lunch at the general store, even enjoy the swimming pool (check for opening hours) if Litchfield isn't for you.

Yes, we even have a pub nearby.
