I heard some sad news today that one of NMC mates had passed away.
I’m glad to have been able to contribute to Shane’s enjoyment in the water.
I’m told he had the best waves of his life riding this board and loved it vey much.
Rest in peace Shane, we will miss you mate

Here’s a bit of history, back in the 90’s I started shaping RASTA surfboards in Barwon Heads.
I had transitioned from my popular label THROB surfboards .

We had a fantastic group of team riders that dominated the local competitions.
Some of those surfers unfortunately are no longer with us today.

I departed Rasta in 1998 and continued shaping under my own name and Eiji Shiomoto took the reins at rasta till his departure.
Ross still has the Rasta shop but no longer has a shaper or produces locally made boards, they just stock imports and production boards from interstate.

We are proud to be the longest running local Surfboard builder in the region and thank all of our customers, especially the ones that have continued to be with us since the Rasta days.

I haven’t posted for a while, life gets a bit hectic sometimes.
Here is a ripper 6’8” x 19 3/4” x 2 3/4”.
It’s a mini version of my F1 special.
Sporting a performance rocker and my Veecon bottom, it will get you out and flying.
Whether carving on the face or pulling into pits, this is the perfect weapon.
