💖 Gratitude is an ENORMOUS part of my practice, so here goes: big, massive gorgeous thanks to the divine Morag Myerscough & Sunnyside Art Experience & the The Social Crew for inviting me to be part of the fabulous "Sunnyside" opening week in Ballarat 💖 What a delight to host a "chatterbox" workshop this morning & to see my work also, at Sunnyside Social at the Unicorn in Sturt St 💖 Also, big kudos to Kilderkin Distillery for vibing the chatterbox right now! 💖 I love this colourful & joyous art that is residing in our City right now 💖 Make sure you check out the fun workshop that is coming up from the Granny Square Lady too 💖

🌧️ I started working on my new, "clouds & rain" motif, while on holiday in New Zealand, earlier this year 🌧️ Here is a selection of journal sketches, which started a brand new series of work 🌧️ I am very happy to say that some of this new work will be exhibited in the Ballarat Arts Foundation "Eureka Art Award 2025" 🌧️ I have been playing with the "raindrop" motif for a while now - to me - they are sublime jewels of nature - sparkly & gem-like 🌧️ The clouds themselves, are new, in my ever-expanding motif library 🌧️ The clouds give me the opportunity to play around with repetitive & meditative mark making, which I truly love 🌧️ Thankyou so much to the wonderful Ballarat Arts Foundation, for your support of local artists & the arts 🌧️

💖 Really thrilled to be teaching this class again, for Term 4 2025 💖 It's all about switching off, slowing down & having a dabble with a variety of mediums & techniques, over an 8 week course 💖 Today we played with watercolour techniques & remained playful with the medium - resulting in great success & some new watercolour devotees 💖 What an absolutely spectacular joy it is, to see people blossom with their creative powers & to be witnessing that joy of discovery 💖

By Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre. Art Create and Learn will give learners a solid understanding of foundational art skills and art techniques including, drawing, painting, mixed media and colour theory. Participants will creatively explore art concepts and visual language.
