I am thrilled to be returning to Adelaide Ceramic Fair for its second year ❤️ and this time it’s running for TWO DAYS!
I sold out of Calm Mugs way too early at last year’s event, so I’ve been busy making many, many more for this year! ☕️✨

For months I’ve been telling myself “post on social media more” but I just haven’t had the capacity to also be the marketing department in my own business lately.

But I want you all to know that I’m still here in my studio, working long hours trying to build up lots of stock for the upcoming Christmas season 🫶🏻
I’ve got lots of Christmas markets booked in and I’m hoping to squeeze in a few little open studio afternoons too. My website is where it always is and every single purchase is still appreciated with my entire heart ❤️

I’m not sure how much I’ll show up on socials the next few months but I wanted to say hi and please don’t forget about my little handmade business while I’m hiding away from *online*

The first ceramic glazes were created more than 5,000 years ago! How incredible is that?!

Every glaze colour starts as a mix of minerals and powders which melt at super high temperatures over 12+ hours into a glassy surface on the clay.
Glaze recipes have evolved a lot over the years but the idea is still the same: turning earth into something beautiful, useful and in my case COLOURFUL 💚🌈

I used to hate glazing because weeks of work can be ruined by a mistake at this point but there really is something magical about glazing and some traditions really are worth celebrating 🤍✨
