Aboriginal Owned Family Business 🖤
Pitjantjatjara - Yankunytjatjara x Wirangu - Kokatha
📍Ceduna - Adelaide, SA
Hello everyone, we are a family of five my name is Trevor and I help manage my partner Kelly & our three daughters T’keyah, Kelilah & Taliyah, I do most of the managing side of the business so my partner and daughters can focus on painting. I belong to the Wirangu people through my father Furnest Ware and Narungga people through my mother Donna Newchurch-Taylor and I am also a traditional lore man
(wati). My partner Kelly is a traditional/Contemporary aboriginal artist, and she belongs to the Antikirinya-Yankunytjatjara/Kokatha people through her grandmother Millie Taylor (nee-Lennon) and Kokatha people through her grandfather Edgar Dingman, Kelly’s grandfather who was also a Senior Lore ma. Kelly watched her grandmother paint from a very young age and fell in love with her art and culture she started to paint with her grandmother until her passing and kept painting for the last 33 years. My partner and daughters paint together at home and before they start painting, they always choose a colour palette first then they sit together and choose a story then start painting the design onto the canvas their style of dot painting is where they merge ancient art with traditional and contemporary art. Born Out Bush a piece inspired by my grandmother, Millie Lennon-Terrone (Mayawarra), who was born out bush at Wantjapila, between Indulkana and Marla in remote northern South Australia. During this time there were no hospitals; our family relied on natural remedies and tradition. This work honours her story and the powerful connection to family, culture, and land.

Hi there! Thank you for visiting our Facebook Gallery. My name is Kelly Taylor and I’m one of the Aboriginal Artists also a Graphic Designer, the other emerging Artist is my daughter T’keyah Ware.
We come from a large family of Artists I was grown up & learnt how to dot Paintings/Stories by my Grandmother The Late Millie Taylor (nee Lennon- deceased) at a young age, as for T’keyah she has had a love for art since a young age watching Myself paint and share stories with her but now has made the paintbrush her own & wants to follow in Myself & her Great Grandmother footsteps and continue sharing /Telling and most of all painting the stories that were left behind by my Grandmother.
We hand paint every painting/product individually whether it be for sale/commission work or to just share our Love of our Art & Culture.
Our Business is owned and operated by us as family with partner Trevor handling all behind the scenes stuff eg: sales, exhibitions, queries or any Information if myself (Kelly)and T'keyah are too busy painting.
We hope you enjoy browsing our face book page and if we can help in any way, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at any time. :)
