Our Story
The South Australian Music Hall Of Fame celebrates South Australia's rich music history, which helped shape and change the nation. South Australia boasts some the the most talented musicians to ever come out of Australia including: The Angels, Glenn Shorrock, Zoot, Paul Kelly, Orianthi, Masters Apprentices, Little River Band, The Twilights, Cold Chisel and Ganggajang. Music Entrepreneurs have also been developed in South Australia including the mastermind behind the Bee Gees, Grease, Saturday Night Fever and The Who's booking manager - Robert Stigwood. Ron Tremaine is also known for bringing The Beatles to Adelaide with radio personality Bob Francis. Founder of the SA Music Hall Of Fame David 'Daisy' Day is also an inductee and remembered for being a flag bearer and supporter of South Australian music throughout his Radio and Television career. The Adelaide Music Collective headed by Enrico Morena are now caretakers of the SA Music Hall Of Fame which had a small permanent exhibition held at St PAul's Creative Centre in Adelaide, curated by Victor Marshall. The Adelaide Music Collective hopes one day the SA Music Hall Of Fame will have a large exhibition, secure and in a central location - in the same vein as the 2015 SA state Library exhibition held in the Institute room and Mortlock library on North Terrace.
