✨ Could T'Arts be your creative community?

Whether you work in paint, textiles, sculpture, glass, wood, metal, mixed media, or anything in between — if you're a maker who loves being part of a creative community, we'd love to hear from you.

T'Arts is an artist-run gallery and shop in the heart of Adelaide, tucked inside Gay's Arcade within Adelaide Arcade, just off Rundle Mall. It's a place where artists support each other, share skills, and grow together — and where your work gets seen by real people every day.

If you are interested in exhibiting your work in the CBD, we invite you to pop into our gallery shop to see our space and chat with the artist on duty.

We're closing out our SA History Festival series with a very special tribute to silk and textile artist extraordinaire, Lynn Elzinga-Henry, one of T'Arts' most treasured members. 🌸

Lynn's journey began in a Kyoto kimono factory in 1975, and over 50 remarkable years her work has only grown more extraordinary. We are so grateful for everything Lynn has brought to T'Arts, and we look forward to welcoming her back for a window display later in the year.

Catch her at the gallery on 31 May — there's always one of our artists here to greet you at Adelaide Arcade, Rundle Mall. 💛

Did you know T'Arts stands for Textile & Arts Collective? 🧵

Textiles are in our DNA — in fact, it was a group of passionate South Australian textile artists who came together over 20 years ago with a bold idea: to create their own gallery space, right in the heart of Adelaide, dedicated to original handmade art. And here we still are!

This June, our side window celebrates that spirit of creativity and innovation with new works by 13 of our talented members: Fiona Trueman, Lynn Elzinga-Henry, Sandra Tredwell, Bev Bills, Liz Wauchope, Maureen Prichard, Bella Head, Marion Dawson, Verity Slee, Tana Lampard, Rosi Gates, Margaret Marsh, and Helen Moon — fibre, fabric, colour and craft all in one beautiful display.

On view from Sunday 24 May. There's always one of our artists in the gallery — come in, browse, and have a chat! 🌈

We have a very special window exhibition arriving this Sunday, 24 May! 🌿

Sisters Carol and Maude Bath are taking over our main window, and we couldn't be more excited to share what they've been working on.

Maude's reversible Nuno felt jackets are snuggly, beautiful pieces — think the warmth of a patchwork quilt reimagined in felt, with nature-inspired screen prints on the reverse. Two looks in one!

Carol has been using the tabard as her canvas, creating evocative felt images drawn from the natural environment of her home by the Murray River.

Between them, Carol and Maude beautifully embody everything T'Arts Collective celebrates — original, handcrafted art made with passion and skill, right here in South Australia.

Come and see it in person! 💛

Meet the artists themselves:

🌿 Maude — Sunday 24 May, 11am–4pm

🌿 Carol — Sunday 7 June, 11am–4pm

⏳ Last Chance to See ⏳
✨ Window Exhibitions at T’Arts Collective ✨

This is the final week to experience our current window exhibitions — on display until 23 May at T’Arts Collective, Adelaide Arcade.

🌿 Juliane Brandt & August Porter
The Interplay of Form and Feeling — a powerful dialogue between abstract landscapes and charred wood sculptures, exploring our connection to the natural world.

🎨 Debby Haskard-Strauss
Where Wild Things Grow — vibrant, layered paintings filled with imaginary birds, abstracted wildlife and richly textured, whimsical landscapes.

Two distinct exhibitions. Two immersive worlds.

✨ Don’t miss your chance to see them in person before the windows change.

Our SA History Festival series continues with the wonderful Barbara Palmer — mixed media painter, former art educator, and a beloved member of T'Arts since 2014. 🎨

From her formal training at the South Australian School of Art in the early 1970s to her boldly intuitive work today, Barb's artistic journey is one of constant evolution. Come and see her work — and meet her! — in the gallery on 17 May. There's always one of our artists here to say hello. You'll find us inside Adelaide Arcade, Rundle Mall. 🖌️

Wednesday visits this month come with a bonus: Adelaide Arcade guided history tours are running every Wednesday in May as part of SA History Festival!
