Independent Space Index Festival
29., 30. und 31. Mai, 14-18h

Wir nehmen zum ersten Mal am ISI Festival teil und freuen uns darauf, uns ein Wochenende lang mit euch auszutauschen und im gemütlichen Ambiente unseres Kunstwohnzimmers über die Kunst, das Leben oder über sonstiges zu plaudern.

Wir zeigen im Rahmen des Festivals die außergewöhnliche Solo-Show "Cabinet of Curiosity" von Katja Svejkovsky, die bis Ende Juni läuft. Die Vernissage findet am 26.5. ab 18h statt.

Klezmer, die alte Musik der jüdischen Volksmusikanten, interpretiert von Vera Rausch am Saxophon und Nikos Pogonatos am Piano - sehr traditionell und doch anders. Eine interessante musikalische Begegnung der Kulturen: Nikos Pogonatos hat griechische und ungarische Wurzeln und ist der jiddischen Musik eng verbunden. Unkonventionell das Blasinstrument: statt der traditionellen Klarinette spielt Vera Rausch ihr Sopransaxophon. Vera kommt vom Jazz und bringt ihren ganz persönlichen Sound ein. Ein Abend mit Gesang und mit viel Instrumentalmusik - tänzerische Melodien, fröhlich, melancholisch und immer zu Herzen gehend.
